DAYDREAMING

My daydreaming scary path

you take me to the nebulous worlds

on the edges of crazy

Soul in search of home

In far away places, forgotten times

forbidden fruits

Enticing, dangerous

you shake the very core

reality promised safety

rooted in watching my life

through a peephole of

common sense, duties and rules

doing right things, the right way

In the trap of manufactured consent

Life reduced, reduced,

reduced to existence of slow dying

as early sunset of old age rushes in

My daydreaming, help me, teach me

how to break the walls, to destroy them

their builders and gate keepers too

For you fly on the wings

of my dark side, my shadow

rebellion of my silenced needs

ever hungry for light

ever craving the world of being

the world of a wide-eyed child

with so much love for all
